Kenn-Sey Assessment of Test Readiness
PLEASE NOTE: FST can be performed in the absence of the hearing test. Bérard Listening testing is only for the purpose of setting the extra filters, THEIR PURPOSE IS NOT TO DECIDE WHETHER FST IS REQUIRED.
THE BERARD TESTS ARE NOT THE APPROPRIATE TESTS TO CONFIRM IF HEARING LOSS IS PRESENT. TO CHECK FOR A HEARING LOSS, ONE MUST VISIT AN AUDIOLOGIST WHO WILL TEST IN A SOUND-PROOF BOOTH WITH DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT.
